Partnerships

Rural Current Journal considers collaborations that fit its focus on rural places and help readers explore landscapes, buildings, paths, materials or seasonal change with care.

Possible collaborations

We consider relevant commissioned features, clearly identified partner articles, newsletter or page placements, and other reader-facing projects with a natural connection to our subject. Proposals should explain the intended audience, format, timing and what the partner hopes to achieve.

Clear labels, clear boundaries

Partner placements and sponsored material are labelled plainly. A commercial relationship does not guarantee editorial coverage, a positive assessment or control over independent articles. We may decline proposals that do not fit the publication or would make the distinction between editorial and promotional material unclear.

How to propose a project

Use the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Include enough detail for us to understand the idea and its connection to Rural Current Journal. We do not publish unlabelled promotional material or imply endorsement through a placement.
